Editorial Policy
AI Spectrum publishes independent coverage of artificial intelligence research, products, policy, and business. Our newsroom standards are designed for accuracy, transparency, and clear sourcing.
How We Report
We prioritize primary sources including official model releases, research papers, regulatory documents, and direct company statements. When we cite secondary reporting, we attribute clearly and verify facts against original sources whenever possible.
Sourcing Standards
We label analysis and opinion separately from straight reporting. We avoid anonymous sourcing unless the information is materially important and independently corroborated.
Conflicts and Independence
Editorial decisions are independent from advertising and sponsorship. Sponsored content is clearly labeled. Any relevant conflicts are disclosed in the story or author context.
Updates and Corrections
We update stories when new verifiable information changes the facts or context. Substantive factual changes are documented in our corrections policy.
